The fairy collection was inspired by stories of the Tylwyth Teg narrated to me by my grandparents usually around the table after supper, surrounded by a mix of floral teacups and the old teapot, the rhythmic sounds of clinking china and the poring of tea was always soothing bringing a comforting sense of order to the events of the day.
